Procedure documentation Assigning Transactions to a Structure Element  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can assign transactions, programs or other objects, to a structure element, in the Transactions tab. This enables you to access and execute these transactions, programs, and objects. These are also the default objects when you create a test plan in the realization phase.

You can also assign a default transaction for a structure element on the Transactions tab. To call the default transaction, choose the Execute symbol next to the structure element in the reference structure.

Prerequisites

You are in the Business Blueprint or Realization transaction.

Procedure

...

       1.      Put the cursor on a scenario, process or process step.

       2.      Choose the Transactions tab.

       3.      Choose Transaction or Program in the Type column.

       4.      Enter the transaction or program ID in the Object column.

The system automatically fills the Name, Type and Logical Component fields.

Note

If the system does not automatically enter a name for the assignment, and <Name Not Found> is in the Name column, call the insertion of assignment names manually:

Choose Environment Refresh Texts from Comp. Systems.

When the system has refreshed the assignment texts, it opens a new session and displays a log.

       5.      If you have chosen the type Web address or file, enter a descriptive text and an object name, for example a file name or URL.

       6.      If you have chosen the type predefined URL, choose a URL in the following dialog box.

       7.      Enter further objects if required.

       8.      Select a default transaction.

       9.      This determines which transaction runs when you choose the Execute icon next to the process step title in the reference structure.

   10.      Save your entries.

Note

The newly-assigned object is automatically put in the project scope, i.e. the checkbox in the In Scope column is selected.
