Procedure documentation Create Business Blueprint Document  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Once you have created your Business Blueprint (project structure, documentation, transaction assignments), you can create the Business Blueprint document for approval or further use.

You can choose between general and project documentation for a template project. You can integrate general documentation into the Business Blueprints, for example to deliver it in a global rollout.

You can only put the project documentation in the Business Blueprint document for the other project types.

Prerequisites

You have adjusted the layout of the document to be generated to your requirements, in Document Management in SAP Solution Manager customizing, if required.

Procedure

...

       1.      Start the Business Blueprint transaction.

       2.      Select Business Blueprint Create Blueprint Document.

       3.      Choose what is to be in the Business Blueprint document:

General tab:

In a template project: General or Project Documentation

Scenario or business process graphics (from Graphic tab)

Scope tab

       Selection from project structure

Caution

The system only puts structure element documents in the Business Blueprint document which you have selected explicitly, and its sub-structure elements. The system only puts the higher-level structure elements in the Business Blueprint document, but not their documents (tooltip Node Selected Automatically).

To put documents of higher-level structure elements into the Business Blueprint document, choose the higher-level structure elements explicitly (tooltip Nodes Selected Manually).

Selection from documents, e.g. only documents to which you have assigned specified keywords

Display Options tab

Details of structure elements and documents, e.g. document name and person responsible

Link to reused document or repeated use of it in the same Blueprint document

       4.      Choose a download directory.

The system loads all documents which are to be put in the Business Blueprint document, into this directory.

       5.      Choose Execute.

Your text-processing program starts.

       6.      Start the MS Word macro SAP_BUSINESS_BLUEPRINT.

Note

To make this Business Blueprint document generally available in the SAP Solution Manager, upload it with Upload in the Project Documentation tab. Set the document to Not Business Blueprint Relevant to ensure that it is not included in the next Business Blueprint document.
