Managing Users
Use the procedures described below to manage users with the visual administrator.

We recommend that you use the user administration console to manage user of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (AS) Java.

1. Start the visual administrator.

2. On the Cluster tab, choose Server → Services → Security Provider.
3. On the Runtime tab, choose User Management.

Choose
with the quick info text Switch to edit mode.
If you see a list of user stores, choose Browse Security Store.
5. Choose from the procedures listed below.

2. Enter data as required.
3. Choose OK.

2. In the Change Password field, enter a new password and choose Change.
3. Renter the password and choose OK.

1. Search for and select a user.
2. Choose Lock to lock the user or Unlock to unlock the user.

2. Choose Remove User.
3. Choose OK.

2. Choose the appropriate action.
○ To add a user to a group, choose Group.
○ To remove a user from a group, choose Ungroup.
3. Select a group.
4. Choose OK.
