Send Forecast and Forecast Revision Time Series

Use

You use the Send ProductForecastNotifications and ProductForecastRevisionNotifications (/SCA/FCST_OUT) report to manually send XML messages of type ProductForecastNotification (PFN) or ProductForecastRevisionNotification (PFRN) to a customer back-end system. In a scenario such as Collaborative Sales Forecasting, customers send PFN or PFRN XML messages to suppliers containing, for example, sales forecast data. Suppliers use the data to run their own forecasts in Forecasting and then compare the forecast data by using consensus finding. Using this report, suppliers can share original values or final consensus values with the customers, by sending PFN or PFRN XML messages back to the customer back-end system.

Activities

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Start of the navigation path Supply Network Collaboration Next navigation step Tools Send XML Messages for Time Series Send ProductForecastNotifications and ProductForecastRevisionNotifications. End of the navigation path

You must make the following settings:

Choose a sender by selecting the radio button next to the Supplier or Customer fields.
Enter 000 in the Version field.
Select a time series type.

If you select the time series type Sales Forecast , you must specify whether to send original or consensus values.
