Working with the Simple Mode 

Use

In simple mode you can assign severity levels to the root location or categories, to a particular subtree, or to a separate location or category.

Procedure

...

       1.      From the Log Controllers tree, select the root of the tree, subtree, or a particular node.

       2.      Choose the desired severity level using the Severity dropdown list from the right pane.

If you are changing the severity of the root node for the whole tree or a particular subtree and you want the change to effect all nodes below this root node, select the Copy severity to subtree option.

       3.      Choose  Apply to save the changes.

Additional options:

• Reset to default – traverses the subtree of existing controllers and restores the default severity for each of them.
• Installation defaults – this option is available in the toolbar. It replaces the entire log configuration, which may lead to the creation and/or deletion of some controllers.
