Executing a Web Dynpro Application: Clients 

The Web interface technology Web Dynpro is client-independent – that is, different clients can be implemented for the output of Web Dynpro applications.

Interaction Between Web Dynpro and Enterprise Portal

When the application is executed on the SAP Enterprise Portal, you can use its functions. The SAP Enterprise Portal offers a role-based and safe access to information and enables you to use the event handling, navigation functions, as well as personalization. Execution in a Browser

Execution on a Mobile Device

Execution on the Web Dynpro Client for Windows

As another option, you can execute a Web Dynpro application from a local Windows client. The Web Dynpro client for Windows is an SAP front end for the Microsoft Windows operating system.
