DataSource Data Import and Export
Use
You
can export the data about a DataSource and save it to an XML file. For more
information about the data type definition of the XML file, see
data-sources.dtd. You can also import data from a file
of this type to create a DataSource.
This function is available in the Runtime tab of the JDBC Connector Service in the Visual Administrator.
Activities

To
export the data about a single DataSource, select the entry in the Resources →
DataSources →
<applicationName> tree and choose 
Export Selected/All DataSources to
XML.

To
export the data about all DataSource objects assigned to an application,
select the application in the Resources
→ DataSources tree and choose Export Selected/All DataSources to
XML.
When exporting a DataSource to an XML, the system also saves the information about the associated application.
To
import data from an XML file, use 
Import DataSources from XML.
