Procedure

  1. Log on to the SAP CRM system.

  2. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

    • Call transaction SM59.

    • In the SAP CRM IMG menu, choose   Customer Relationship Management   CRM Middleware and Related Components   Communication Setup   Define RFC Destinations  .

  3. Choose Create.

  4. Enter the following data:

    • In the RFC Destination field, enter Crm_<CRMSID><CRMCLIENT>_to_Erp_<ERPSID><ERPCLIENT> (for example, Crm_CR1005_to_Erp_ER1001).

    • In the Connection Type field, enter 3.

    • In the Description field, enter OLTP ERP System.

  5. Choose Enter.

  6. On the Technical Settings tab page, enter the following:

    • Under Load Balancing, select the No indicator.

    • In the Target Host field, enter <Target host ECC system>, for example, pwdf0421.

    • In the System Number field, enter <System number of ERP system>.

  7. On the Logon & Security tab page, enter the following:

    • Under Trusted System, select the No indicator.

    • Under Status of Secure Protocol, select the No indicator.

    • In the Language field, enter EN.

    • In the Client field, enter <ECC client>.

    • In the User field, enter CRM2ERP.

    • In the Password field, enter <your password>.

  8. On the MDMP & Unicode tab page, under Communication Type with Target System, select the Unicode indicator if the Unicode test has been executed successfully.

  9. Save your RFC destination.

  10. You can now test your newly created RFC connection using Connection Test.
