Exporting and Importing a
Configuration
You can save the J2EE Engine configuration by exporting it as an XML file, or exporting engine data from the database and importing it later to restore the cluster element properties’ settings. This procedure enables you to export the whole cluster data as well as a particular cluster element data, or just the instance properties file.

... 1. Choose File → Export Unsaved Changes to XML. 2. Choose the directory, where you want to save the XML file. 3. Enter a name for the XML file. 4. Choose OK. |
Export data for a particular element |
... 1. Choose File → Export Data From DB. 2. Select the indicator corresponding to the cluster element you want to export and deselect the other elements. 3. Enter a name for the exported file and choose where to be stored. By default, it is located under the /configtool folder. 4. Choose OK. |
Import data for a particular element |
... 1. Choose File → Import Data To DB. 2. Select the file you want to import. It must be a configuration exported from the Config Tool to be fully compatible. 3. Choose Open. |
