Procedure

  1. Logon to the SAP CRM System.

  2. Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

    • Call transaction SM59.

    • In the SAP CRM IMG menu, choose   Customer Relationship Management   CRM Middleware and Related Components   Communication Setup   Define RFC Destinations  .

  3. Choose Create.

  4. Enter the following data:

    • In the RFC Destination field, enter SAPCRM_MW_RR_<CRM client>.

    • In the Connection Type field, enter L.

    • In the Description field, enter Processing R&R queues – client <your CRM client>.

  5. Choose Enter.

  6. On the Logon & Security tab page, enter the following:

    • In the Client field, enter <your CRM client>.

    • In the User field, enter CRMMID2CRM.

    • In the Password field, enter <your password>.

  7. Choose Enter.

  8. On the Special Options tab page, enter the following:

    • Deselect the Slow RFC Connection indicator.

    • Deselect the Set RFC Trace indicator.

  9. On the MDMP & Unicode select the Unicode indicator, if the target system is a Unicode system.

  10. Save your entries.

  11. Confirm the information message.

  12. You can now test your newly created RFC connection using Test connection.
