Using the Global Configuration
You use
the Global Configuration tab to change the global
properties of a service or manager. For more information about global and
local properties, see
Global and Local
Properties in the
Architecture Manual.

1. Start the Visual Administrator.
2. Choose the Global Configuration tab.
3. Choose Kernel / Services and select the manager / service you want to configure.
4. Select the required property and change its value using the Value field.
5. Choose Update.
6.
Choose
Save Properties to save the changes.
The Apply global changes to cluster elements dialog appears, which gives you the option of applying the changes to the local properties of the selected cluster elements also.
7. Choose Yes to save the changes.

If you deselect all the cluster elements or just choose No, the changes made to the global properties will still be valid.
