The "completed" indicator specifies whether an Earmarked Funds Item is completed. The open amount for the item is then zero, even if the original amount for the earmarked funds has not been reduced completely.

The "completed" indicator has the following effects:

• The document cannot be changed.
• You cannot reference this document when making a posting.
• If not all of the document line items have been completely reduced by follow-on documents (such as funds precommitments, funds commitments or invoices), the assigned funds are taken back. The assigned value of the relevant FM account assignment is reduced accordingly.
