Procedure

  1. In the Object Manager panel, under the Detail section, choose the Assigned Objects tab.

    The Assigned Objects page appears.

  2. Choose Expression from the Type field and choose Create Object.

  3. In the Object Creation dialog box that appears, enter the following data:

    • Name

    • Short Text

    • Text

  4. Choose Case in the Type field.

  5. Choose Create & Navigate To Object.

    The newly created case expression appears in the Object Manager panel.

    If you choose Create the case expression appears under the Assigned Objects tab.

  6. Define the case parameter. Choose Graphical Access (Graphical Access). You can choose either of the following:

    Select an Existing Data Object

    • In the context menu, choose   Select Context Data Object   Select Context Data Object...  .

      In the Context Query dialog box that appears, choose the data object and choose Select.

      The selected data object is added as a case parameter.

    Select an Existing Expression

    • In the context menu, choose Select Expression....

      In the Object Query dialog box that appears, select the expression and choose Select.

      The selected expression is added as a case parameter.

    Create a New Expression

  7. Define the result for the case expression. Choose Graphical Access (Graphical Access). You can select a standard type, an existing data object or create a new data object.

    Select a Standard Type

    • Choose Select Standard Type and choose the data object type.

    Select an Existing Data Type

    • Choose Select Data Object.

      In the Object Query dialog box that appears, select the data object and choose Select.
