Deploying Development Component
Projects
You must first deploy development component (DC) projects created for the Composite Application Framework (CAF) environment in Composite Application Services (CAS) before you can use them.
You have launched SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and created a DC project in CAS. You can see your project in the Service Explorer view and the server is running.
The following projects are listed in the Navigator view:
· LocalDevelopment~<project name>~sap.com
· LocalDevelopment~<project name>~dictionary~sap.com
· LocalDevelopment~<project name>~ejbmodule~sap.com
· LocalDevelopment~<project name>~metadata~ sap.com
· LocalDevelopment~<project name>~webdynpro~sap.com
· LocalDevelopment~<project name>~permissions~sap.com
...
1. In the Service Explorer view, select the project you want to deploy with the secondary mouse button and choose Generate Project Code.
2. Select the same project with the secondary mouse button and choose Deploy to J2EE Engine.
The Build Development Components window opens.
3. Select your project including the additional development components you want to build and choose OK.
The deployment status is displayed in the General User Output and Deploy Output views at the bottom of the screen.

4. In the Logon to SDM (Software Deployment Manager) window, enter your password and click OK to deploy your projects..
You will not be asked to enter your password again once you are logged on to the system.
Your DC projects are now available for use in your application.
