  Release Comparison

Use

The schedule lines of two releases may differ in terms of quantities and dates. The release comparison allows you to detect these differences. In the release comparison, SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC) compares the releases at schedule line level and determines the differences between the quantities, the cumulative released quantities, and the delivery dates.

Features

SNC compares schedule lines based on delivery dates by default. In Customizing for Supply Network Collaboration , you can specify that SAP SNC is to compare the schedule lines based on the shipping dates, by choosing Start of the navigation path Scheduling Agreement Release Next navigation step Define Settings for Release Processing. Activities

You call the release comparison in the release history. You specify the releases that you want to compare as follows:

  • If you do not select any releases, SAP SNC compares the current release with the predecessor release.

  • If you want to compare any release with the current release, select the release.

  • If you want to compare any two releases, select these releases.
