Resource networks are linked to the location product. The resource network strategy determines whether pegging considers resource networks, while the container resource strategy determines whether pegging considers container resources.

Prerequisites

Product master data exists.

Procedure

  1. On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose   Advanced Planning and Optimization   Master Data   Product [folder]   Product  .

  2. On the Product Master: Initial Screen, enter or select a valid product and location combination, then choose the Change pushbutton.

  3. On the Change Product screen, use the arrow buttons adjacent to the tabs to navigate to the Demand tab page, and then choose the Pegging sub-tabpage.

  4. Scroll down to Resource Network and enter a valid resource network in the Res. Net Name field, or select one from the list.

  5. In the Res. Network Strategy field, select Consider Resource Net Strategy.

  6. If you also wish to maintain the container resource strategy, select Container Resource Net Strategy.

  7. Save your entries.
