Stock Projection Worksheet
Use
The Stock
Projection Worksheet (SPW) is an enhancement to the APO
Planning
Book. You use the SPW to:
· Project the stock position for stock objects, such as locations and products in a particular supply chain model
View the
· physical inventory and starting inventory figures in real time (not valid for book inventory)
· Project stock for multiple materials or multiple locations in a single worksheet
· Project stock for various levels of the supply chain, including region, terminal, own location, and partner location
· Work with simulation versions of stock projections with the option of activating the simulation version to make it the active stock projection version
· Enter simulation (what-if) values and save these with the actual forecast data (calculation of the projected stock on hand based on what if quantities for goods receipts and goods issues)
Prerequisites
The Activate TSW and Subcomponents indicator must be selected in Customizing. To do this, in Customizing choose SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (SAP APO) → Transportation Planning/Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS)→ Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench (TSW) → Activate TSW and Subcomponents.
Features
· Update of the forecast based on call-off quantities against sales contracts used to generate the forecast
· By assigning the planning book: 9ATSW_SPW2 (monthly planning buckets profile for physical stock) to the Supply Network Planning (SNP) you can use the following features:
- Object Hierarchy Control (OHC)
- What-if functions (simulated stock projections)
· Physical minimum quantity available in the Product view of SNP
· Physical stock quantity can be used as an alternative to the book inventory (only works with SPW for physical stock)
