You use this interface to import location master data into SAP F&R.

Integration

  • The location can be one of the following types:

    • Distribution center

    • Store

    • Vendor

  • You can use a Business Add-In (/FRE/IF_CON_BADI_007) to enrich and change the imported location data. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Forecasting and Replenishment under   Interfaces   Enhancements Using Business Add-Ins   BAdI: Location Data Enrichment  .

Prerequisites

In the sending system, you have defined which locations you wish to export to SAP F&R.

Features

You can import the following information to SAP F&R:

  • Basic data

    such as location type, time zone, profile name

  • Descriptions

    Language-dependent texts

  • Communication data

    such as telephone, fax, e-mail, URL

Activities

  1. The integrated sending system starts the transfer and calls appropriate function module for the interface in SAP F&R. For more information, see the Overview of the Interfaces in SAP F&R.

  2. You then post the data in SAP F&R.
