Configuration Work
Center
The configuration work center includes the following options for configuring your system:
● Application Modules
This is a solution that contains details of the deployed applications as well as several types of modules (such as Web and EJB modules) where configuration settings can be viewed and altered.
More information: Application Module Configuration
● Application Resources
A possibility such as this allows applications to make use of external resources. Application resources can be configured as well as created and deleted by the administrator.
More information: Application Resource Configuration
● Virtual Hosts
A solution like this can act as several different Web servers responding to different URLs, but referring only to a single real IP address. A user can gain flexibility by providing different configuration settings for each of the virtual hosts that can be both created and configured.

● Logon Groups
This is where logon load balancing, which increases the efficiency of various workgroups that have been defined, can be performed. To improve performance and system resource consumption, users are distributed across available application servers based on the requirements of the workgroup service and load sensitivity. Each SAP application has different resource requirements, therefore certain applications that may require more servers and logon groups can be created and configured in this view.
More information: Logon Group Configuration
● System Properties
Information is organized in a tree view containing all the important configuration data of the selected systems, such as the VM settings and services configuration. This is an informative view only. To change the configuration of a system, use the local configuration tool.
More information: Viewing System Properties
● Log Configuration
This tool allows you to control all log severities structured in a tree-like view. A user is informed of the logs that can fill up quickly and can re-configure the severity settings after discovering a problem, using a tracking period.
More information: Log Configuration
● SPNEGO Configuration Wizard
You can use this wizard for a guided approach to enabling users belonging to a Kerberos Realm to log on transparently to the AS Java with Single Sign-On.
More information: Wizard-based Configuration for Kerberos Authentication
● Trusted Systems
This tool enables you to use wizard-based management of trust relationships for SSO with logon tickets. You can use the wizard to add a new trusted system (ticket-issuing system) or to check and update the certificates of the systems in your Trusted Systems list.
