Task Area
The budget planner is responsible for creating budgets and budgetary control.
The transfer of budget allocations (qualitative and quantitative) to individual departments is a part of the budget planning process. Other main focuses of activity are the reconciliation of funds applications from individual departments and the moderation of budget negotiations.
The monitoring of proper budget management is part of a budget planner’s task area, as is the coordination of budget changes during the year (for example: supplements, returns and transfers).

Tasks in the Business Information Warehouse
The budget planner deals with tasks in the area of budget creation and budgetary control. For managers to accomplish these tasks, BW makes Business Content information available in a workbook.
