Use

Using the RFID function in Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM), you can print RFID labels for your packaged products and handling units.

Prerequisites

To be able to print RFID labels in EWM, you must make a series of settings in Customizing and in the system.

      Customizing settings:

Depending on the time at which you want to print the labels, you need to implement the following Business Add-Ins (BAdIs):

       BAdI: RFID label printing for handling units:

       BAdI: RFID label printing for warehouse orders:

      System settings:

       Create the condition records for printing handling units.

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Extended Warehouse Management Work Scheduling Print Settings Create Condition Records for Printing (HUs).

       Create the condition records for printing warehouse orders.

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Extended Warehouse Management Work Scheduling Print Settings Create Condition Records for Printing (Warehouse Orders).

 

Note

Note that during the first cross-warehouse activation of RFID processes, the system checks if an enhancement of the print condition tables is required and starts this, if necessary.
