Key Figures for Leading-Indicator-Based Forecasting 

If you are using leading-indicator-based forecasting, you can display the following key figures in the Forecast field, in addition to the forecast key figures.

Demand: Leading-Indicator-Based Forecast

In this key figure, the system displays the forecast for a location product, which it generated on the basis of the leading indicator you selected.

You choose a leading indicator on the Leading Indicator tab page in the forecast profile of the location product.

Demand: Std. Dev. LI-Based Forecast

In this key figure, the system displays the standard deviation of the leading-indicator-based forecast.

Demand: LI-Based Disaggregated Forecast

In this key figure, the system displays the disaggregated values of the leading-indicator-based forecast.

Demand:Std. Dev. LI-Based Dis. Forecast

In this key figure, the system displays the standard deviation of the disaggregated forecast values of the leading-indicator-based forecast.

<selected leading indicator>: History

In this key figure, the system displays the historical values of the leading indicator you selected. The planning service SPP: SPP: Prep. Srvce for LI-Based Fcsting (SPP_LFI_SERVICE) generated these historical values. For more information, see Running the Preparation Service for Leading-Indicator-Based Forecasting .

<selected leading indicator>: Forecast

In this key figure, the system displays the forecast values of the leading indicator you selected. The forecast service determines these values as described in step 2a in the Running a Leading-Indicator-Based Forecast section. Based on these values and the forecast values of the coefficient, the system generates the forecast values of the location product, which it displays in the key figure Demand: Leading-Indicator-Based Forecast.

Std. Dev. Leading Indicator

In this key figure, the system displays the standard deviation of the forecast values of the leading indicator.

Coefficient: History

In this key figure, the system displays the historical values of the coefficient. The planning service SPP: Preparation Service for LI-Based Forecast  (SPP_LFI_SERVICE) generates these historical values.

Coefficient: Forecast

In this key figure, the system displays the forecast values of the coefficient. The forecast service determines these values as described in step 2a in the Running a Leading-Indicator-Based Forecast section. Based on these values and the forecast values of the selected leading indicator, the system generates the forecast values of the location product, which it displays in the key figure Demand: Leading-Indicator-Based Forecast.

Std. Dev. Coefficient

In this key figure, the system displays the standard deviation of the forecast values of the coefficient.
