Procedure documentation Using a Display Callable Object for Forms  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can use a form display callable object as a display callable object for actions where the execution object is an interactive or a composite form. It displays the name and description of the form and provides a link for download.

By integrating these two objects in an action, you are able to monitor process flow. You can generate a task for this step to make it accessible in the runtime. If the user has view permissions on the step, he or she can view the display object and download the form itself.

Prerequisites

·        You have the appropriate rights to work in GP design time.

See: Portal Roles

You have created an interactive or a composite form callable object.

See:

Exposing Interactive Forms as Callable Objects

Exposing Composite Forms as Callable Objects

You have created an action and inserted the form as a callable object for execution.

See: Creating Actions

Procedure

...

       1.      In the gallery, navigate to the action you have created.

       2.      Choose Open and then This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Edit Mode).

You should be able to see the form callable object inserted in the action.

       3.      From the Item dropdown box, make sure you select Callable Object for Display and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Insert).

       4.      In the gallery, navigate to folder Predefined Content  Interactive Forms and select Display IF CO.

       5.      Confirm your selection by choosing Select.

       6.      Select the action from the process flow list and open the Task tab page.

       7.      Set the Generate Task indicator.

Whenever a form is mailed, a task is generated that can be viewed in the GP runtime worklist or UWL.

Note

On the Task tab page, you can also customize the task title that appears under Activities in the contextual navigation panel at runtime:

                                                  i.       Set the Customize Task Title indicator

ii.       Enter a text pattern for the title.

You can also include placeholders, which are replaced by the values of the input parameters at runtime.

       8.      Save and activate the action.

       9.      Test the action by including it in a process.

Example

You can modify My First Form Process to include the Display IF CO callable object.
