Transport
You can export Composite Application Framework (CAF) content created in the Java Server database to the external Design Time Repository (DTR) system.
The following types of content are available for transport:
● Business entity instances – business entity services content, created locally
● Business entity authorizations - permissions and rules for managing business entity services
● Custom enumeration types – custom types requiring multi-language support
● Object mappings – mappings from business entity services to external services
● Hierarchical classifications – business entity instances distributed hierarchically in folders and categories

...
1. You use the content transport user interface and select the information you need from the development Java server engine database.
2. You inspect the content and prepare it for transport.
For more information, see Preparing for Content Transport.
3. You can retrieve the selected content in:
○ Software deployment archive (SDA file) including an XML deployment descriptor
○ Deployment descriptor only (XML file)
You can transfer this data to another system using the Software Deployment Manager (SDM) tool.
For more information, see Transporting CAF Content.
