Composite Application Framework Runtime Configurator 

Purpose

This component provides you with a central access point to all relevant administration and configuration tools needed in Composite Application Framework Core (CAF Core). You use the CAF runtime configurator to manage and administer all CAF-based applications.

Prerequisites

You have started the J2EE engine. To access the user interface in SAP NetWeaver, go to http://<host>:<port> /caf. Remember to replace <host> and <port> with the appropriate machine name.

Administrative Tools

In this section, you will see several links that lead to a set of applications needed to manage authorizations, SAP Knowledge Management (SAP KM), and other CAF Core runtime configurations.

Test Tools

This link provides you, the developer, with a set of applications you need to test CAF Core services. Currently, you can only use the service browser to test what you have modeled and any configuration parameters you have defined.

User Interface Configuration

You will find a set of applications you use to manage user interface configurations. It includes the following links:

Other Tools

You can use additional CAF Core runtime configuration tools to assist you in integrating your CAF Core application. They are mostly Web Dynpro-specific features; however, you can also manage user information. See Other Tools for more information.
