Activating MIC Content Objects
Ensure that the MIC-related BI Content is activated correctly. Proceed as follows:
...
1. Replicate all MIC DataSources.
2. Collect and activate all MIC Content objects.
After performing the above steps, you can extract the data into SAP BW.
Replicate all MIC DataSources (0MIC… and 0CGVMIC…) from the MIC OLTP source system that is connected to your SAP BW.
...
1. In the Administrator Workbench, choose Modeling ® Source Systems and double-click the MIC source system.
2. If no Management of Internal Controls node is visible in the right-hand part of the screen, you first have to activate the MIC application components and MIC DataSources in the source system.
Proceed as follows:
a. Log on to the source system.
b. In transaction RSA9, activate the following application components:
§ Management of Internal Controls (APCO-CGVMIC)
§ Management of Internal Controls – Transaction Data (0CGVMIC)
§ Management of Internal Controls – Master Data (0CGVMIC-IO)
c. In transaction RSA6, check whether the MIC DataSources are already available in the customer version under the MIC application components.
d. If this is not the case, copy the missing DataSources in transaction RSA5.
3. To replicate the DataSources, go to the Administrator Workbench in SAP BW under Modeling ® Source Systems and choose Replicate DataSources in the context menu of the MIC source system.
Once the MIC DataSources have been replicated successfully and the Business Content objects have been activated successfully (see the section “Collecting and Activating MIC Content Objects” below), symbols for the DataSource(s) assigned to the respective InfoSource appear in the Administrator Workbench under Modeling ® InfoSources ® SAP Application Components ® SAP Components ® Corporate Governance ® Management of Internal Controls ®<InfoSource> ® <Source System>. The symbols appear on the right alongside the source system node.
You have the following options for collecting MIC Content objects:
· Using roles in SAP BW that are relevant for MIC
· Manually
Once you have collected the objects, you can activate them.
The following roles are delivered in SAP BW for MIC:
· Organizational Unit Owner (SAP_BW_MIC_OU_OWNER)
· CEO/CFO (SAP_BW_MIC_CEO_CFO)
· Process Group Owner (SAP_BW_MIC_PG_OWNER)
· Process Owner (SAP_BW_MIC_PR_OWNER)
· Internal Auditor (SAP_BW_MIC_INTAUD)
· Manager of Internal Controls (SAP_BW_MIC_ICMAN)
To collect Content using these roles, proceed as follows:
...
1. In the Administrator Workbench, choose Business Content ® Roles.
2. In the context menu of a role, choose Insert Objects for Collection.
3. Under Grouping, select the option In Dataflow Before and Afterwards.
In this way, the system then automatically collects all objects beneath the role, down to the InfoPackage level.

The MIC InfoObject catalogs MIC: Characteristics (0CGV_MIC_CHA01) and MIC: Key Figures (0CGV_MIC_KY01) are not collected with this procedure. For this reason, choose these catalogs manually under Business Content ® InfoObjects ® Financials Management & Controlling ®Corporate Governance ® Management of Internal Controls.
Furthermore, note that the following objects are also not collected because no role currently contains them and because they are only delivered for customer-specific enhancements to MIC Content:
· The InfoObjects Relevance (0MICRELEV), Relevance of a Relevance Group (0MICRELESIT), Start and End Date of a Timeframe (0MIC_TF_PER)
· ODS object Issues (0MIC_DS04)
· InfoSet Issues (0MIC_IS04)
If you want to use these objects, you have to collect them manually, as well as the objects occurring upstream in the dataflow.
To manually collect Content objects (objects, optional subobjects, and all dependent objects), choose Business Content in the Administrator Workbench, and collect the following Content objects:
· Collect the InfoProviders (0MIC…) under InfoArea Financials Management & Controlling (0FMCO) ® Corporate Governance (0CGV) ® Management of Internal Controls (0CGV_MIC).
Note: Also collect the update rules.
· Collect the InfoObjects (0MIC…) under InfoArea Financials Management & Controlling ® Corporate Governance ® Management of Internal Controls ® MIC: Characteristics and MIC: Key Figures.
· Collect the InfoSources (0MIC…) under application component SAP Application Components (SAP) ® SAP Components (0NDI ) ® Corporate Governance (0CGV) ® Management of Internal Controls (0CGV_MIC) (including Master Data: Management of Internal Controls (0CGV_MIC_IO))
The InfoSources include:
¡ Communication structures
¡ Transfer structures
¡ Update rules
¡ Transfer rules
¡ InfoPackages
Ensure that DataSources from the MIC-OLTP source system are assigned to the InfoSources.
· Under Object Types ® InfoPackages, collect the InfoPackages with the following descriptions:
¡ 0MIC<Text>_FULL_R3
¡ 0CGVMIC<Text>_FULL_R3
· Also collect query elements (queries, variables, restricted key figures, calculated key figures, structures) as well as routines and formulas, if any exist.

From the technical point of view, all MIC objects belong to package RS_BCT_CGV_MIC, which you find in the Administrator Workbench under Business Content ® Packages ® BW Content: Management of Internal Controls.
To activate the collected objects, select them and choose Transfer. No errors should occur during activation.
