You use this interface to import hierarchical relationships between products into SAP F&R.

Integration

You can use a Business Add-In (/FRE/IF_CON_BADI_006) to enrich and change the imported product hierarchy data. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) under   Forecasting and Replenishment   Interfaces   Enhancements Using Business Add-Ins   BAdI: Product Hierarchy Data Enrichment  .

Prerequisites

  • In the sending system, you have defined which product hierarchies you wish to export to SAP F&R.

  • In order to create or modify a hierarchical relationship, the corresponding products must exist in SAP F&R.

You can import the following information:

  • Product hierarchy nodes

  • Links between product hierarchy nodes

Activities

  1. The integrated sending system starts the transfer and calls appropriate function module for the interface in SAP F&R. For more information, see the Overview of the Interfaces in SAP F&R.

  2. You then post the data in SAP F&R.
