This query enables you to examine the percentage variances between the quantities set out in the PO and the quantities actually delivered.
Delivery quantity variances are rated with the aid of a grid consisting of various windows (time intervals). The latter are defined by setting interval limits in Customizing for the Logistics Information System (LIS) (Logistics Data Warehouse ® Updating ® Updating Control ® Settings for Purchasing ® Change Period Split for Quantity Reliability). You can define a total of four interval limits, so that altogether five classes are available for rating purposes. The grid is defined in dependence on the purchasing organization.
If you wish to compare delivery quantity variances on a cross-purchasing-organization basis, you must have previously defined the grid in Customizing in exactly the same way for each of the individual purchasing organizations concerned.
