Forecasting Alerts

Forecasting alerts indicate that an exception situation has occurred connected to statistical forecasting or short-term forecasting in SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC).

To generate a forecasting alert, the following options are available, depending on the alert type:

The Planning Service Manager (PSM) generates the alert.
SAP SNC generates the alert when running validation checks for Forecasting.

Forecast Alert for Location Planner	7402	PSM	During a forecasting run, SAP SNC generates alerts if there is no forecast master record for a location product or if there is no historical data for a location product.
Forecast Alert for Location Planner	7402	PSM	During a short-term forecasting run, SAP SNC generates alerts if it is the projected sales that is taken as the forecast for a location product.
Forecast Alert for Location Planner	7402	Validation	SAP SNC generates alerts based on the TURNPROMOSPLI validation check if the baseline stock-out limit or the promotion stock-out limit is reached for a location product.
