Performing Emergency Logical-Log Backup (ontape)
Use
This procedure tells you how to perform an emergency logical-log backup on your Informix database using
ontape . You must back up the logical log quickly if processing is to continue as soon as possible.Procedure

$ ontape -c
The continuous logical-log backup resumes.

$ ontape -a
The full logical-log files are now backed up.
When all full logical-log files have been backed up, the process stops.
