To make sure that you can create backups of the Informix database with ON-Bar in the best way, you have to decide on your approach. If your approach is poor, you might later have trouble using the backed-up data to restore the database.

Database backups include whole-system and storage-space backups:

3. You decide whether to use the DBA Planning Calendar in the Computing Center Management System (CCMS) of the SAP System to schedule database backups.
