Choosing an Installation Scenario to Implement Your Landscape Design

Each installation scenario outlines a specific way to install and configure an SAP Mobile Platform system. Your landscape design determines the installation scenario you will implement. SAP Mobile Platform supports a variety of system design options to suit deployments ranging from a personal system on a single workstation to full-scale, clustered production systems.

   Individual Development and Test	Single-Server Development Installation
   Minimum Production Environment	Single-Server Production Installation
   Shared Development and Test	Cluster Installation, installed once as the production system and again as the recovery system
   Fault-Tolerant Production	Cluster Installation, installed once as the production system and again as the recovery system
