Managing UsersLocate this document in the navigation structure

Retrieve user application, device, and connection details for users.

Context

From the list of users, you can search for specific details, and sort by column. You can also disconnect one or more Agentry user connections.

Procedure

  1. In Management Cockpit, select Users on the Home screen to view applications and device details for users. Alternatively, select Start of the navigation path Applications Next navigation step Users End of the navigation path.
  2. Select the filter criteria for each category. Use Ctrl+Click to make individual selections, and Shift+Click to select ranges.
    • Under Application Type, select one or more types (Native, Hybrid, Mobile BI, Web, Agentry) to narrow the scope of application type. The default is Native.
    • Under Applications, select All, or select one or more of the applications listed.
    • Under Devices, select All, or select one or more of the device types listed.
    • Under Time Frame, select All, or one of the time periods listed (Last Hour, 12 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days).
    • Under Entries, select the maximum number of users to display. Limiting the number of users improves performance.
    You see information about users that meets the filter criteria.
    Field Value
    User Name Name of the person using the application.
    Unique ID
    • Native, Hybrid, Mobile BI, Web apps – the Application Connection ID.
    • Agentry apps – the User ID.
    Application Application ID.
    Device Type The parameter value, such as Android or iPhone, sent by the device during connection. "Unknown" indicates the device type cannot be detected.
    Last Connection/Registration Time The date and time the user application connected to SAP Mobile Platform Server, in the format MMM DD, YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM.
    • Native, Hybrid (OData), Mobile BI, Web apps – time when the user first registered the application with SAP Mobile Platform.
    • Agentry apps – last time the user connected to SAP Mobile Platform.

    Is Tester

    (Applies only to hybrid) For hybrid apps, specify the user is a tester by selecting Yes; otherwise, select No.

    Users who are defined as testers can test hybrid apps that are in the staged state. See Uploading and Deploying Hybrid Apps.

  3. (Optional) To reorder user information, use the column sorting options.
  4. (Optional) In Filter By, enter a value to search for a specific user name, user ID, application, or device in the retrieved results.
