Windows Phone Push NotificationsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Configure Microsoft Push Notification Service (MPNS) for the selected application, to enable the back-end servers that are connected to SAP Mobile Platform to send toast, tile, badge, and raw updates to Windows phone users running mobile applications. Only unauthenticated push notification is supported.

Procedure

  1. In Management Cockpit, select Start of the navigation path Applications Next navigation step Push End of the navigation path.
  2. To send HTTP push notifications to devices, select Start of the navigation path Windows Next navigation step MPNS Next navigation step Enable MPNS HTTP Push End of the navigation path.
  3. (Optional) Configure push notifications for other applications.
