Marking Client Log Records for Deletion (Logical Deletion)Locate this document in the navigation structure

The first step in deleting client log records is to mark the log records for deletion (known as a logical deletion).

Context

Procedure

  1. In the left navigation pane, expand the Packages folder and select the package you want to manage.
  2. In the right administration pane, select the Client Log tab.
  3. Click Clean or Purge.
  4. Enter a time frame to indicate which client log data you want to mark for deletion, and click OK.
    The data is marked for deletion, and no longer appears on the Client Log tab.

Next Steps

When the client application synchronizes, the marked records are deleted from the client database. After synchronization, you can physically delete the records from the client log.
