Forcing an Immediate Backup

Perform an unscheduled full or incremental backup of the repository.

Prerequisites

You must have administrative privileges (sccAdminRole) to perform this task.

Procedure

From the main menu, select Application Administration.
In the left pane, select Repository.
Choose the type of backup to run:
- Click the Full Backup tab, or
- Click the Incremental Backup tab.
Click Back up Now.

Results

SAP Control Center saves the backup to the directory shown in the Location field.
