Configuring Client Log SettingsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Enable automatic client log retrieval from devices for registered applications, and schedule how often retrieval occurs. This allows an administrator to collect and view logs in a central location if needed.


Configure automatic retrieval of client logs in SAP Control Center.


  1. Expand the cluster for which you are defining the client log retrieval schedule, and select Start of the navigation path Configuration Next navigation step Log Settings Next navigation step Client Log End of the navigation path.
  2. Select Enable to enable log retrieval. By default, the schedule is disabled.
  3. Click Properties and update these schedule properties:
    • Select Schedule repeat for Daily or Weekly
    • Set the Start date and Start time
    • Set the End date and End time
    • Set the Days of the week if Schedule repeat is Daily
  4. Click the Refresh button to refresh schedule properties.
