You use this procedure to create, edit, and delete notification schedules. Schedules are used to decide on when to send the notification. You can search for a schedule by its title.

Prerequisites

  • You need to have authorization for the consuming application.

  • You need to add the authorization object for this application to the role of the consuming applications.

Procedure

Creating Schedule

  1. Open the Template and Scheduleapplication on the launch pad.

  2. Choose the Create button. The Create Schedule screen appears.

  3. Enter a title.

  4. You can select either of the two radio buttons:

    • Event Based: If you need to send a notification prior to an event. For example , if a system downtime is planned and you need to notify the users a week ahead of the event.

    • Times Based: If you need to send a notification at an absolute point of time.

  5. Enter the required details based on your selection.

  6. Choose Save.

Editing schedule

  1. Select a schedule and choose the Edit button. The Edit Schedule screen appears.

  2. Make the required changes.

  3. Choose Save.

Deleting a Schedule

Select the required schedule and choose the Delete button.
