In the Administration - Change Impact Analysis application, you can perform further customizing for the business process change analyzer (BPCA), in addition to the setup activities in SAP Solution Manager Configuration.

  • BPCA Preparation tab:

    • Perform BPCA Self-Checks

      To generate semi-dynamic TBOMS, ensure that Usage and Procedure Logging (UPL) data is generated in the system and can be retrieved. For more information, see Checking the Prerequisites for Generating Semi-Dynamic TBOMs.

    • Generate TBOMs

      Create semi-dynamic or static TBOMs for the executable entities in your executable library. For more information, see Creating Semi-Dynamic or Static TBOMs.

    • Perform Obsolescence Checks

      Identify potentially obsolete TBOMS. For more information, see Scheduling Obsolescence Checks.

    • Delete TBOMs

      Delete obsolete TBOMs from one or more solutions. For more information, see Deleting TBOMs.

    • Maintain TBOM Filter Table: To optimize business process change analyses by ignoring irrelevant objects in TBOMs, define filters. For more information, see Editing TBOM Filters.

    • Maintain TBOM Criticality Table: This enables you to adjust the test scope and the optimization sequence according to the importance of TBOMs. For more information, see Editing the TBOM Criticality.
