You document job scheduling restrictions on this tab page.
Choose Add
.
A dialog box appears.
Enter a name for the scheduling restriction.
Choose a type. By default, there are four possible types of scheduling restrictions:
Conflict
Use this type if your job can cause conflicts. A conflict can, for example, occur when two particular jobs run in parallel.
Dependency
Use this type if the job depends on other factors or jobs.
Predecessor
Use this type if another job must run before this one.
Successor
Use this type if another job must run after this one.
Note
If required, the administrator can specify additional types of scheduling restrictions. These are defined in SAP Solution Manager Configuration, under
.In the Job Name
field, use the value help to select the job documentation for the job with which there is a conflict, dependency, or predecessor/successor relationship. This will create a link that allows you to quickly open the corresponding job documentation.
