If recording TBOMs manually fails, verify the system parameters, or update the TBOM attributes.

Procedure

  1. In the Solution Documentation view, drill down to the executable whose TBOM recording fails.

  2. Choose the Elements of <Executable> tab page.

  3. Open the TBOM. If you cannot do so, make a new recording and check any error messages.

  4. Check the connection to the managed system.

    1. Under Environment, choose Check System.

      The system identifies the managed system using the logical component group and the system role specified in the solution, and displays it.

    2. If the connection to the managed system is broken, ask the system administrator to repair it.
