Background documentationOutage Maintenance

As a administrator responsible for a system you ensure that only SLA-relevant data is reported and displayed. To do so, you can maintain an automatically created service outage and adjust, for example, start and stop times or faulty measurements, or you can create a service outage manually, if measurements are missing and hide service outages if they are caused by false alarms.

In a typical scenario, the responsible service provider system administrator agrees to the changes with the customer end user, for example a Business information Officer. At the end of a reporting period, the service provider IT service manager confirms the service outages.
