The dashboards view displays the Custom Code Management scorecards. You can configure objectives related to custom code management and track your progress toward these goals using fully customizable scorecards and KPIs. Prerequisites

To use the custom code management related dashboards, activate specific services (SICF). The activity Active Services activates these services automatically. To activate the automatic activity, choose SAP Solution Manager Configuration from the SAP Fiori Launchpad then choose the Custom Code Management scenario and start the automatic activity Activate Services.

You have completed the settings for the Custom Code Management KPI group.

Features

BUSINESS VALUE

The Business Value tab provides an overview of all active KPIs for custom code management in all the systems. If you click the line of a specific KPI, the system displays more details about that KPI.

The following KPIs are predefined by SAP:

  • Total number of custom code objects

  • Total number of low quality objects

  • Total number of objects not used

  • Percentage of objects with criticality level 4 and 5

  • Total number of objects of severity level 1 – Enhancements

  • Total number of objects of severity level 3 – Modifications

  • Total number of objects of severity level 5 – Customer Objects

You can click the desired KPI to view more details.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

The KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS tab will show all relevant information for the seven KPIs. In the Select KPI Group field choose Custom Code Management.

Baseline

By default the system takes the BW data retrieved for the first time to set the baseline. You can define a baseline which serves as upper limit manually.

For example you can define a maximum number for the KPI Total number of Custom Code Objects.

Achievement

The achievement is the comparison of the KPI current actual value with the Target value shown as percentage

Target

You set a target that you want to reach for a KPI for a specific point in time.

Benchmark

SAP predefines the benchmark based on customer experience.

KPI current

Reflects the current situation for the KPI, for example the current amount of custom code objects.

Monthly Improvement

Indicates a percentage of how well or bad the improvement has been in the current month.

You can change these values the in the settings. On the dashboard screen choose the wheel icon to open the ICI Dashboard Configuration.

Dashboards

To display the KPI-specific dashboards, click the desired KPI in the Business Value or Key Performance Indicators view, for example, Total Number of Custom Code Objects. You have several display options, for example, Granularity, which helps you to look at the KPI's history.

Note Note

You can change settings for the dashboards. To change the settings, choose the wheel icon on the dashboard screen to open the Dashboard Configuration.

Quick View

Choose Quick View to display the historical details on the achievement, plan/actual, KPI value and monthly improvement:

  • Achievement History

  • Plan/ Actual History

  • KPI Value History

  • Monthly Improvement History

You can display the historical data over a specific time, for example the last weeks, months, days.

Input Measures

Choose Input Measures to display the historical details on the overall numbers.

  • You can select a specific system or all systems.

  • You can select the granularity of the historical data (for example the last weeks, months or days).
