Synchronizing with Transport Management System (TMS)
Automatic data transfer from the Transport Management System (TMS) is optional. The TMS delivers system names, clients, software components, and TMS-specific information for systems in the transport domain. This data is required for Change Request Management and Quality Gate Management.
Prerequisites
The AS ABAP data supplier (
RZ70
) has been extended to register the TMS configuration. For more information, see SAP Note 1977240
.The SLD has a sufficiently high SAP NetWeaver version. For more information, see SAP Note 1990269
and Connecting LMDB to System Landscape Directory (SLD).
Procedure
As of SAP Solution Manager 7.2, information on transport domains is sent to the System Landscape Directory (SLD). From the SLD, the information is automatically synchronized with the LMDB.
Any transport domain controller (which can only exist on Application Server ABAP systems) automatically provides the information by a RZ70
data supplier to the SLD, which also includes information on the connected non-ABAP systems.
