You use this procedure to create tasks for managed objects such as, technical systems, hosts, and databases. You can create guided procedure-based tasks and simple tasks.
You have SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP 10 or higher.
You have performed the configuration steps described in SAP Note 1825634.
You have a valid business partner ID.
You have the role SAP_TASK_PLANNING_ALL
.
Navigate to the Technical Administration
work center.
Choose IT Task Management
.
Select IT Task Planning
, embedded, or in a new window.
Choose the Plan
pushbutton and select, the planning mode to create tasks, from the drop-down list.
The following table helps you determine the planning mode to use, depending on the use case.

When you have created the task, save your entries.
To display the recently planned guided procedures and tasks, return to the IT task planning window and choose Refresh
.
To view all tasks, centrally, in IT Task Inbox, choose Show Task Instances
