Before a requirement can be implemented in a change document or as part of a project, it must first be committed by the IT department and the business department. The IT requirements manager is responsible for committing the IT requirement on behalf of the IT department.

Prerequisites

  • The IT requirement has the status Submit for Approval.

  • You have the business role SOLMANPRO.

Procedure

  1. In the Requirements Management view, open the IT requirements that have been assigned to you.

  2. Review the content of the IT requirement.

  3. If the IT requirement is OK, choose Start of the navigation path Actions Next navigation step Approve End of the navigation path.

  4. Save your entries.

Result

The requirement has been committed by the IT department and is now forwarded to the business department, which must also commit it.
