You have created change cycles.

You can display the following information about your task lists:

  • Assignment of task lists to change cycles

  • Task list structure including the task status such as Locked, Unlocked, Active

  • Monitor tab showing the overall view of the task execution

  • Daily Overview of task execution in a task list

  • Transport Requests belonging to a task list including the following information:

    • Name and status of the transport request in the source system

    • Transport request type

    • System in which the request was created

You can perform the following activities:

  • Create new change cycles.

When you choose Create Cycle, the system starts the WebClient UI. For more information, see Change Cycle.

  • Distribute software changes of ABAP and non-ABAP objects (for example, Java archives)

  • Create new task lists for urgent changes

You can create a task list for an urgent change directly from the Task Lists tab. Note that this task list is not connected to a change document on the WebClient UI.

  • Perform a configuration check for change cycles

  • Change the CTS status switch

Usually, the CTS status switches are closed. You should only open a switch in the following cases:

    • You want to schedule an import in the transport management system.

    • The SAP Solution Manager system is not available and you would like to perform a local import.
