On the Task Lists
tab, you can display information and execute operational activities for distributing software in your system landscape. The functions are based on the Schedule Manager.
You have created change cycles.
You can display the following information about your task lists:
Assignment of task lists to change cycles
Task list structure including the task status such as Locked
, Unlocked
, Active
Monitor
tab showing the overall view of the task execution
Daily Overview
of task execution in a task list
Transport Requests
belonging to a task list including the following information:
Name and status of the transport request in the source system
Transport request type
System in which the request was created
Landscape View
of a task list
You can perform the following activities:
Create new change cycles.
When you choose Create Cycle
, the system starts the WebClient UI. For more information, see Change Cycle.
Distribute software changes of ABAP and non-ABAP objects (for example, Java archives)
Create new task lists for urgent changes
You can create a task list for an urgent change directly from the Task Lists
tab. Note that this task list is not connected to a change document on the WebClient UI.
Perform a configuration check for change cycles
Change the CTS status switch
Usually, the CTS status switches are closed. You should only open a switch in the following cases:
You want to schedule an import in the transport management system.
The SAP Solution Manager system is not available and you would like to perform a local import.
