Procedure documentationActivating and Deactivating Alerting

 

You can activate and deactivate alerting. You can, for example, create an EEMon script for testing purposes and deactivate performance or availability alerts for this EEMon script.

Prerequisites

  • You have administrator authorization.

  • You are currently performing the Alerting step of the guided procedure for setting up End User Experience Monitoring in the SAP Solution Manager: Configuration work center.

Procedure

  1. Choose the Steps tab.

  2. Expand the hierarchy for the technical scenarios, EEMon scripts, and steps.

  3. Choose Edit.

  4. To deactivate alerting, deselect the Performance or Availability columns at the relevant hierarchy level.

  5. Save your entries.
