You can change the status of a change for a QGM project. The initial status of a change is Open. Depending on the progress of the change and the project, you can switch the status to Completed or Withdrawn, if necessary. The initial status of an urgent change is To be Approved.

Procedure

Setting the Status of a Change
  1. On the Changes tab, select a change and choose Start of the navigation path Set Status Next navigation step Completed / Withdrawn End of the navigation path, to effect the following:

    • Completed: The change has been carried out and is finished. This means that this change will not be transferred to a new maintenance cycle during a maintenance cycle switch. Only changes with all transport requests imported successfully into a production system can be completed.

    • Withdrawn: If you set this status, the change is withdrawn. Changes which contain non-empty transport requests cannot be withdrawn.

  2. The change status has been switched.

  1. On the Changes tab, select an urgent change and choose Start of the navigation path Set Status Next navigation step Completed / Withdrawn / Approve / Reject Urgent Change End of the navigation path, to effect the following:

    • Completed: The change has been carried out and is finished. This means that this change will not be transferred to a new maintenance cycle during a maintenance cycle switch. Only changes with all transport requests imported successfully into a production system can be completed.

    • Withdrawn: If you set this status, the change is withdrawn. Changes which contain non-empty transport requests cannot be withdrawn.

    • Approve / Reject Urgent Change: The Quality Manager and the Quality Advisory Board must approve an urgent change in order to change the overall status to Approved. QM and QAB can upload documents, if required.

  2. The change status has been switched.
