You set-up alerts for your systems.
To set-up alerts for a system, select the
SAP System
check for it.
The
SAP System
check is structured according to the configuration of your solution landscape.
Go to the
CCMS Context
tab to make the possible entries help for CCMS alerts available to the SAP Solution Manager for user alerts.
Choose a CCMS context from the possible entries help.
You can activate or deactivate alerts in the subchecks.
Select a check.
Set or reset the
Active?
flag for all alerts which you want to put in or remove from the alert graphic, respectively.
You can load the default configuration for all alerts which match the local CCMS values, which is predefined by SAP. Choose
Load Defaults for R/3 System
in the
SAP System
check.
The symbol in front of each check indicates the reachability of the alerts in the CCMS monitoring tree. The meaning of the symbols is explained in the
Legend.

To see or change the attributes of the active alert, choose
Properties.
You go to the transaction
Monitoring: Properties and Methods
(RZ20) of the system. You can switch between the attributes of the active alerts with
Next Selection Object
and
Previous Selection Object
.
Set the flag in the
TID-Specific
column, if you only want to set the settings for a specified alert, and not for the CCMS customizing group assigned to the alert.
If you have flagged the alert as
TID-Specific
, the system ignores your specific alert settings if it copies customizing to other systems later.
To save your entries, choose the pushbutton
Save + next w/o Check
.
You go to the next unprocessed check.
